RURAL COUNTRY GARDEN
We are delighted to have been involved in developing this wonderful space for our clients in Hertfordshire.

Having purchased land backing onto rural fields, they commissioned us to design the garden, whilst the building plans were still on paper. They were very clear that their garden should be part of the landscape and that their view from within the house should not be obscured.
So we worked on creating formal terraces and planting borders close to the house to frame the dining and lounging areas, with more relaxed curved spaces beyond. Adding a variety of trees into the garden provided vertical interest as well as link to the trees in the fields beyond.

"Every time I come down in the morning and look out, no matter what the season, it makes us glow with happiness, what you have done for us!" Mr K, Letchmore Heath
Just a few seasons after the garden was planted, it's already beginning to fill out and bloom. And with so much seasonal interest left to come, we can't wait to see how our clients will enjoy the garden over the coming months and years.
It's been a very rewarding journey for over a year, collaborating with the architects at Haverstock and our fantastic clients, to make the inside and the outside of their home flow seamlessly, all the way to the views beyond.
BEFORE
With our clients' permission, we thought it might be interesting to show the garden's journey, from the first day that we came on-site to an empty space, through the build process, and out on the other side!
