RHS CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW 2021

​We were delighted to have been commissioned by the RHS to design the site planting at last year's Chelsea Flower Show!
It was a pleasure to work with a different seasonal palette of plants for the Show which took place in September (rather than its usual Spring calendar).  It gave us hot colours to work with for the sunny borders like Crocosmia and late flowering perennials like floaty Anemones and grasses and colour-changing shrubs like Cotinus and Euonymus alatus to mark the season.

We wanted to create an installation at the Show, so we brought in family-run WonderWood Willow who expertly wove arches and 'fences' to create an artisan feature in all of the beds - they gave the beds structure and personality and provide an excellent backdrop to the plants, as well as provide permanent structure for future shows!

Here are some of our favourite plants that we used in the sunny planting schemes around the showground;
